Last night I had such an amazing night. Derek spent the night here and we went out on the deck at around 11 pm last night to just hang out, talk, and relax. While we were standing out there together I was telling him about how I can hear an owl hooting some nights. Then all of a sudden we see something traveling in the sky and it was really far so it couldn't be a plane or a helocopter. We still aren't sure what it was so for now it's an UFO. As we were watching the UFO get farther and farther away and slowly disapear we saw a shooting star! What are the chances that we would see an UFO and a shooting star right at the same time! It was so awesome! After both had disapeared back into the beautiful night sky we started talking and relaxing again. Then a couple of minutes later Derek saw a huge owl fly into one of the trees in the side yard and he pointed it out to me as it was landing in the tree. It was a huge owl! The wings were gigantic! It was so cool for me to finally see the owl that I had been hearing for so long now. We sat there watching him sitting in the top of the tree waiting to see if he would start hooting or not when all of a sudden he went swooping down and caught something, it was so freaking cool to see him catch his prey and then devour it. I felt like I was one of those animal show hosts on Animal Planet or the Discover Channel. Then he went flying into another tree in the front yard, but that tree was farther away from our deck and he was a lot harder to see. After that we went back inside, but I cannot believe that we saw an UFO, a shooting star, and an owl (that I had been talking about just a few minutes prior to seeing him). It was a once in a lifetime night, and it was absolutely amazing.

I have actually often thought about this. First off I would take the baby to the hospital to make sure that it gets a clean bill of health and then I would alert the police as to the fact that I found the baby to make sure that nobody was looking for the child. I have decided that I would keep it. I would not want the child to have to be put into the system, so hopefully the authorities would allow me to keep the child. What I would name it would depend on if it's a boy or a girl and what cultural background the child was from (if it's caucasian, asian, african american...etc...).

It's too bad that I have to pick just one or the other because I think both are pretty awesome. I guess I would have to go with pirates though because they seem like a lot more fun than ninjas. Ninjas seem so stern and serious while pirates seem to let loose and be crazy more often. I also think that Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are freakin hott!!!

Oh my gosh I have gotten so far behind! With my car being broken, Swap-bot being down over the long holiday weekend, me getting back together with Derek, and having to volunteer on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of on Monday and Wednesday I have now fallen so far behind on my swaps. I have the "Love Koi Fish" swap that's due tomorrow, the "Favorite Animal Swap" which I'm the host that's due on the 31st, a private swap between Lunaria (that's a Swap-bot name) and myself that's also due on the 31st, and then I have a private fruit tea swap that's due on the 1st. So that's 4 swaps that need to be ready to go out in the next 3 days. Technically I have the "Love Koi Fish" swap finished but I really want to get my partner at least one other koi item. The tea swap I also have finished, all I have to do is package it. I will have to go shopping tomorrow though in order to get the "Favorite Animal Swap" and the private swap between me and Lunaria items. I should be able to get it all from one store though, so if I plan it all right then I should be able to get them all out tomorrow!!!

Today was not a very good day. First off I cannot get Swap-bot to work and I had planned on working on a bunch of different swaps today but since I couldn't look at the swap descriptions I didn't want to test my horrible memory by starting them without rereading the descriptions, therefore I didn't work on any of my swaps today. I did however finish my last pen pal letter this morning, so atleast the day wasn't a total bust. I also found out that my son lost his brand new toy that I bought for him because he had finished a full row on his potty chart. It was a Fisher-Price Imaginext dinosaur that would snap it's mouth closed and roar when you would squeeze the lever on it's tail. Needless to say I'm pretty angry that he lost it, I don't have much money so buying this toy for him was pretty special. I have called Target and Cub Foods hoping that he might have lost it at one of those places and that it may have been turned in, but I had no luck at either place. So then I went downstairs to go see if he had forgotten it out in my car, I unlock the driver's door and try to unlock the rest of the doors using the power locks but it doesn't work. I thought that was odd so I hop in the car and try to start it and it wont start, yeah that's cause my battery died for some unknown reason. Well the dinosaur wasn't in my car so I went back upstairs to call my mom and see if it was in her car and it wasn't in her's either. So as a last hope I posted a ad on craigslist in the lost and found section, hopefully someone has found his dinosaur and will think of looking at the site, chances are it wont happen but atleast I'm making the effort. I'm still not feeling great today, a little better but not great. Now I'm just waiting for Swap-bot to start working and watching the Twins game. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Well today was just another day. Nothing much going on really. I am still not feeling very well, and I think I have gotten my son sick now too (he has a runny nose). My mom didn't go to work this morning which in my opinion sucks because that means she's at home with me, and sadly she isn't a very nice person. If I was so awesome that I ruled the world my mother would still find reasons to bitch at me. No matter what I do it's never good enough and it never will be, and frankly I'm sick of hearing about all of my MANY faults. I take pride in my faults, my faults are a part of who I am. My faults may not be faults to other people, some people may think my faults are perks. Anyway, back to my not so very exciting day, it consisted of being bitched at by my mother, being drove to the brink of total madness by my crazy son, watching t.v., making pot roast for dinner, taking a shower, and writing some very over due pen pal letters. I have had some of these pen pal letters for over a month and had not written back yet. I feel bad for making my pen friends wait for so long, but I just have not been in the mood to put pen to paper lately. Well I got 3 out of the 4 that have been waiting for over a month done today and I plan on finishing the 4th one tomorrow. I also need to start working on a koi swap from Swap-bot tomorrow. Speaking of Swap-bot the website has been being very erratic today, between running just fine, running very slowly, and not running at all. It's driving me crazy, I'm starting to go through Swap-bot withdrawals. Who knew that I would be so dependant on a website? Swap-bot is like an addiction, with the swaps, the forums (and their drama), and the games it can give you a good high sometimes. I can be feeling really low and when I see a super cool swap to sign up for on Swap-bot it's like my whole day can turn around. I can have something really fun to focus on for the rest of that day, no matter how crappy the rest of that day is Swap-bot has given me something to look forward to.

I would have loved to be on Golden Girls, that is one of my favorite shows and it is so funny! I think I would want to play a guest staying in their house. I would not want to be one of the main characters because the people who they have playing them are so perfect for their parts that I wouldn't want them to change!

Sorry I haven't posted in the last couple of days. I got sick two days ago with a horrible cold and I still don't feel well. I ended up having to volunteer on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of Monday and Wednesday because my daycare assistance expired on May 17th and for some reason they did not renew it until I complained to my work counselor on Monday and even though I started calling at 7:30 am they didn't get it renewed until around noon. On Wednesday I ended up having to be in the Toddler Room. Those kids are a lot of fun but they really wear me out, of course then again I am sick so I get worn out easily. Yesterday my mom's boyfriend came over as he usually does, but all of us went outside and barbequed some brats for dinner. My mom and I made pasta salad too, and it was all really good. On Tuesday they were having a charity plant sale where I volunteer so I ended up buying a Spearmint plant and a Parsley plant. I repotted them today, it was nice to just go out onto the deck and relax with the nice breeze blowing. Of course while I was pouring the potting soil into one of the pots the wind ended up blowing the soil right into my face, yeah didn't think that through the whole way. Needless to say I ended up taking a shower when I was done repotting the plants. I should be working on some of my Swap-bot swaps, but I really am just not in the mood. My noise is half plugged and it's giving me a huge headache. None of the meds I have taken seem to work, so that sucks too. I don't even have the motivation to go down to the lobby and check the mail. Hopefully I'll start feeling better soon.

My nickname has been Lucky ever since the 5th grade. I was on the local girls basketball team. We played other teams who knew our names because we knew the other players, so when we would call out to eachother during the game the other team would obviously know who we were talking to or about. So our team decided to all take on nicknames and we decided we would all have dog names. Well I got the dog name Lucky and it just stuck because back then I was really lucky, and we ended up taking 1st place that year too!

I'm sorry to all you smokers, but I really need to rant. I am so angry with the smokers in my apartment building. Cigarette smoke gives me such a headache that I cannot even keep my sliding glass door open to enjoy the fresh air and cool breeze because the smokers go out on their deck to smoke and it wafts right into my home and it's stinking up the place. I just want to go out onto my deck and yell at the top of my lungs for the smokers to smoke inside and stink up their own house and that their second hand smoke is killing me and my son!!!
